![]() ![]() Even if they did decide to spam your smoke, they're not in a situation to deal with the rest of your team (ammo/util/positioning). You are forcing a decision on the defender(s) regarding who to focus. I never played tac shooters before so a lot of things are very new to me, but I have decent aim, so I just practiced the things I'm bad at in practice range and DM, and they improve a bit with time When you die try to analyze why, could you have done something differently? Maybe you're dying a lot when peeking, or when holding a corner, that means you need to practice that, maybe watch some videos. What's your role? How to utilize it better? In the game, try to pick one character and learn the hell out of it.It's even recommended to do aim training with a higher sens because it makes micro adjustments harder to do, so you learn to control your mouse better. ![]() For example, a big misconception is that aiming is muscle memory, when in reality you can change your sens every game if you wanted to. Also their guides should help you find a better sens for you, and learn about aiming in general. If your aim is not good Google voltaic, they have a lot of theory and drills for aim improvement in kovaaks and aimlabs, I'm pretty sure they have playlists tailored specifically for valorant. Then also a good gaming mouse that's comfortable for you, and a mouse pad with enough space so you can move your arm without it hitting anything. Nothing is more infuriating when a Jett dashes onto site, gets insta killed(which is fine, it happens) but doesn’t comm from where. One tip of advice is that you really need to comm when u die. There’s no way u can coordinate all the executes you see with your comp teammates, but it may give you a better understanding of how to execute.Īgain, this is a very simplified version. Cant always win the 1v1, but a 1 for 1 trade + site is not bad at all.Īnd remember, if ur having an off day, there’s still other things you can do to be useful.Īlso recommend watching pro matches. In reality, if ur duelist is making space and setting up favorable trades, that’s fine. Low elo sometimes have the misconception that a duelist must enter site alone, and clear it all by themselves. If they are pushing site right behind you, be ready to trade if anyone kills your teammate from site.Įxecuting is all about favorable trades. If ur team is mollied, use your second smoke to delay time before you’re visible. After that, you should be aware of what ur teammates are doing. That makes it harder for enemies to kill you due to the elevation difference, as well as giving you visibility to basically all of A site. Some maps like ascent, it’s favorable to updraft then dash so you can get on top of generator on A site. An ideal execute would be initiator’s util like a sova dart/drone or a flash from kayo etc., followed by a Jett dash onto site. Essentially ur job as Jett is to draw enemy attention, and create space. ![]()
